The Art of Digital Growth 

Over the past 6 months, we’ve been working with Hayden Gallery to bring their incredible art collection from the gallery walls and into the digital space. 

Who are Hayden Gallery? 

Hayden Gallery are an artist owned, family run, independent art gallery and consultancy based in Marlow.  

The gallery prides itself on exhibiting original artworks from emerging talents or established creators from across the UK. 

Our collaboration  

Hayden Gallery’s deep knowledge of the art world, combined with our digital marketing expertise, has helped shape a strategy that’s already making an impact. 

Their Instagram presence has grown rapidly, raising brand awareness and encouraging conversation around contemporary fine art. The results so far speak for themselves: 

  • 288% increase in reach 

  • 123% increase in interactions 

  • 338% increase in followers 

  • 210% increase in profile visits 

  • 185% increase in visits to the website

  • 200% increase in address taps

It’s not just about engagement, people are taking real action by visiting the gallery in person, streaming and subscribing to the podcast, and diving deeper into the website to explore what’s on offer.

How did we do it? 

We believe that true success is achieved when your digital presence is considered as a whole - not just in parts.  

By this, we mean that we consider all aspects of our client’s digital presence to ensure they work together seamlessly and create a unified strategy. 

We achieved this through the 3-step process that we like to call, Understand, Engage, and Convert

Let’s take a closer look at how we applied this to Hayden Gallery’s digital journey: 

Understand 

Month 1: Brand and Competitor Research  

We started our work with Hayden Gallery by researching into their brand, audience, and competition to set the foundation for our strategy. 

Month 2: Building a Digital Strategy  

With our research in hand, we crafted a tailored digital strategy backed by data to recommend the best plan of action for Hayden Gallery.  

Key parts of the strategy included; Growing their social media presence, boosting SEO across the site, and refreshing key webpages to improve the user experience. 

Engage 

Month 3: Planning & Trialling Content  

After this, we began working on the first phase of the social strategy, which focused on creating content that reflects the gallery’s brand, services and personality. 

Over the month, we trialled a variety of content, including blogs, graphics, reels, photography and podcast episodes with our partners Nine Four and SugarSnapTV.  

Experimenting with a variety of formats allowed us to discover what resonates best with Hayden’s audience.

Month 4: Discovering What Works 

The key to understanding what your audience truly cares about lies in your data. 

No guesswork, no assumptions - just an honest insight into what’s working and what’s not. 

To do this, we pulled together a report for Hayden Gallery which highlighted each channels performance, pinpointed engaging content, provided audience insights, analysed podcast and SEO performance and gave recommendations for next steps. 

Once agreed with Hayden, we fine-tuned the strategy with our new objectives. One of which focused on looking at new channels such as Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube Shorts & Threads.

Convert 

Month 5-6: Seeing the Results 

Now for the exciting bit – the results!  

Hayden Gallery saw a significant increase in Instagram reach, followers, engagement and website traffic.  

The success doesn’t end with digital engagement, we worked with Hayden Gallery to create a buzz for their exhibition - which it certainly did! Our exhibition campaign generated over 19.6k views and just under 1k interactions. 

On the day, Hayden Gallery had a fantastic turnout at the Spring Exhibition, with positive feedback from attendees with artists making sales on the day.

By combining strategic content, trending reels, and a focus on authentic storytelling, we helped Hayden Gallery achieve a game-changing increase in engagement, reach, and follower growth. The results speak for themselves, but more importantly, this work helped bring more art lovers through the doors and boosted sales for their artists!
