The situation

The FDA has recently celebrated its 100th birthday and is justifiably proud of its long tradition of standing up for managers and professionals in the civil service. Conscious of the need to move with the times without loosing sight of the traditions that had got them to where they are today, in 2017 they embarked on a digital transformation programme and needed help to deliver it.    

The challenge

The FDA punch well above their weight when it comes to achieving successes for members, whether through high profile media coverage or effective pay negotiations, but all aspects of their digital infrastructure were holding them back. First we started by helping the FDA to develop a digital strategy which touches on every aspect of the business, whilst is highly flexible, constantly updated, easy to understand and manage. 

We enabled the FDA to move swiftly through a transformation programme which constantly kept the user at the heart of decision making through an agile process encompassing user experience design, regular user testing, continuous stakeholder and partner engagement
