  • Are you overlooking simple solutions to big problems?

No matter the project or the platform, sticky notes are my go-to tool!

Whether they're scattered across a workshop table or flying around a Miro board, they help me make sense of complexity, spot patterns, and bring structure to big ideas.

There’s something about that simple square format that invites quick thinking, honest input, and creative problem-solving. Paper or pixels, they get the job done.

Next time you're tackling a complex project or brainstorming with the team, try using sticky notes!

  • Are you aware of all the ways customers discover you?

For years, the initial stages of a user journey have typically been optimised around traditional SEO, focusing almost exclusively on Google search results. In 2025 technologies are rapidly evolving and search behaviours have changed.

Are you prepared to capture all the ways potential customers are now seeking your products and services?

    AI Search: Conversational Queries

AI-driven search platforms, like ChatGPT and Perplexity, are changing how users find answers online. Instead of scanning through multiple pages, users receive immediate, conversational responses. Have you considered that your content might not be optimised to feature in these AI-driven results?

    Image Search: Visual Discovery

Image search tools, such as Google Lens, empower consumers to visually discover products or services. If your images aren't clearly optimised or appropriately tagged, you might miss valuable visibility.

Voice Search: Speaking the User’s Language

Voice assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant mean users increasingly rely on vocal queries. Conversational keywords and natural language content become essential in ensuring your business surfaces in these searches.

Ignoring  AI-driven platforms, image searches, and voice queries is no longer an option. Your competitors certainly won't be!

Now is the time to rethink your search strategy.

  • Are you talking to your audience, or just yourself?

When was the last time you really put yourself in your customer’s shoes? Many digital profiles - especially websites - are built from an internal perspective. But here's the problem: the way you label your services, pages, or even your navigation might not make sense to your target audience.

Ever tried searching for a service only to be met with jargon you didn’t understand? That’s what can happen when your website doesn’t speak the language of your users. Let’s say you sell high-quality headphones. You might have a page titled “Acoustic Audio Solutions” or “Premium Sound Devices.” To you, those titles might seem fitting. But would your audience search for them? Chances are, they’re looking for simple terms like “best noise-cancelling headphones”. That disconnect could be costing you visibility and potential customers. If you want your website to truly resonate, make sure the words you use match what your audience is actually searching for; your product names and descriptions should meet your users where they are, not where you think they should be. After all, it’s customer needs that should guide your website, not your internal lingo.
