Content with a job to do.

Publishing more isn’t the answer. We work out what your audience is really asking, plan content that answers it, and measure what each piece achieves — so nothing is written just to fill a calendar.

Sound familiar?

  • We publish lots, but nobody reads it.

We’ll make sure every piece has a job and an audience.

  • We never know what to write about next.

We’ll plan from what people are actually asking.

  • Our content says what we want, not what they need.

We’ll start from your audience’s questions.

How it works

One topic, many answers

We start with what your audience is asking.

Illustrative example.

Your audience asks: How do I apply for a Google Ad Grant? Is my charity eligible? How much can we get? Can we use it for donations? Why aren’t our ads showing? What keywords should we use? Can we lose the grant? How do we track results? Do we need a website? Can someone manage it for us? We group these questions around one pillar page, "Google Ad Grants: the complete guide", linked to cluster articles: How to apply for a Google Ad Grant, step by step; Is your charity eligible for an Ad Grant?; How much is a Google Ad Grant worth?; Using your Ad Grant to drive donations; Why your Ad Grant ads aren’t showing; Choosing keywords for your Ad Grant; How to keep your Ad Grant account compliant; Measuring what your Ad Grant achieves; What your website needs before you apply; Managing an Ad Grant: in-house or agency?. Each piece is then reused as a Blog, LinkedIn post, Email, Short video, FAQ.

FAQs

Questions we get asked

What’s the difference between content strategy and content marketing?

Content strategy is the plan: who you’re talking to, what they need, what to publish and how you’ll measure it. Content marketing is doing it — writing, publishing and promoting the content. A good strategy makes the marketing far more effective.

Do you write the content too, or just plan it?

Both. Some clients want a plan and briefs their own team can write from. Others want us to write the content too. We can do either, or a mix of the two.

How does content strategy help with SEO?

We plan content around what people are really searching for, then group it into pillars and clusters that link to each other. That helps search engines understand what you’re an authority on. It works hand in hand with our SEO service.

How long before we see results?

Quick wins, like improving pages that already get traffic, can show results within weeks. New content usually takes three to six months to build momentum in search. We’ll report on progress every month, so you can see what’s working.

Can you work with our in-house team or writers?

Yes. We often plan the strategy and write the briefs, then your team or freelancers write from them. We can review drafts and train your team too.

How do you measure whether content is working?

Every piece gets a goal before it’s written, such as enquiries, sign-ups, donations or newsletter subscribers. We set up tracking to measure it, and report each month on what each piece is achieving.
